The hotel features 35 private villas of 1 to 3 bedrooms, overlooking the Turtle beach or the Mermaid Bay. Wooden walls and roofs covered pandanus leaves are inspired by the traditional Poynesian bamboo house “fare”. Large windows in all rooms, offer a divine view of the lush garden, the private pool and in the background, always the blue lagoon. The nature interferes with the sober and serene interiors. Local materials are the basis of the construction and decoration.

Each villa is equipped with a multimedia living room with chairs and sofa, a walkthrough dressing area adjoining a bedroom with garden and lagoon views. Our Opinion

The Brando Resort combines luxury and environmental sustainability to create one of the finest eco-friendly resorts in the world. It is 100% energy independent and supports a number of research and conservation initiatives.
The motu on which the resort sits has been touched as lightly as possible.  Local materials have been used extensively in the design and construction. All building materials used are of local or certified origin, renewable, or incorporate recycled components.
The innovative air conditioning system powered by sea water (the SWAC) significantly reduces energy requirements. It runs entirely through renewable energy such as solar panels and biofuel. The hotel reaches zero carbon footprint, and is virtually autonomous in terms of energy.
