Raiatea has a rich and preserved flora and fauna that you will discover during this expedition. On board Aito 27, you go discovering archeological sites of the island, including a stop at the Marae Taputapuatea, which used to occupy a prominent place in the religion and the politics of French Polynesia. You will then follow the Faaroa river up, surrounded by luxurious vegetation: a unique experience on the only navigable river of French Polynesia! You will be delighted to have your lunch on the beautiful motu Avera (islet), where you will try some Polynesian dishes, as well as fresh fruits accompanied by the drink of your choice. This is a stunning place where you can even meet the exceptional marine wildlife of Raiatea, snorkeling in the lovely coral garden. Your guide will be happy to share with you his passion for his island and his culture.
