Moorea - 2-7 hours

Sport & Adventure / Underwater world

A unique experience
  • Outstanding dive sites less than an hour by boat from Tahiti.
  • A variety of underwater fauna awaits you as well as coral reefs of great beauty!
  • During the boat ride to the dive sites you can admire the island and lagoon of Moorea.
  • Treat yourself to an introductory dive in the turquoise lagoon of Moorea!

The island of Moorea offers outstanding diving sites for its underwater marine life and magnificent coral reefs. The island has more than 8 dive sites located primarily on its northern side between the Club Med motu and Opunohu Bay.
The Tiki dive is reputed for the four species of sharks that gather at this site. Drift diving at the Aito site is an exhilarating excursion for turtle lovers! The corridor of the rays is a lagoon dive in a protected site that is perfect for beginners and those in training or refreshing their diving skills. This is where we often see leopard rays. The site of the anemones is recommended for refresher divers. During this training session you will be surrounded by the sea anemones populated by clown fish!  The coral roses site is open to experienced divers, who will appreciate the unusual beauty of the myriad coral roses, as well as the lemon sharks that are often seen in this area.
The dive center is located a just few minutes by boat to the most beautiful sites of Moorea. The ocean dives take place in the morning and in the lagoon during the afternoon.
You will dive with a certified PADI 5-star center, with monitors and professional instructors (PADI, ANMP, FFESSM, CMAS). Baptisms and training dives are available daily.

Our Opinion

If your diving circuit does not extend to the Tuamotu Archipelago, then plan for some underwater excursions in Moorea. Only a few kilometers by boat from Tahiti, Moorea offers very rich and abundant dive sites. On Moorea’s north side, where the water is very clear, the dives are truly remarkable with most unusual encounters. This may include lemon sharks, which are identifiable by the gray to golden color of their skin, or the sea turtles that are more numerous near the reef. Of course, you will have around you a myriad of black tip sharks, white tip sharks and grey sharks. All harmless, during your dive they will become the travel companions you cannot do without!
