Sport & Adventure / Mountain Side
A unique experience
- A variety of landscapes in only one hike!
- An easy and pleasant hike for a family day.
- Access to a sacred polynesian place called marae.
It is the most famous valley in Tahiti, full of stories and legends. The hike starts by one hour hike on a big shady path along the river to get to the small wooden bridge. From there you can choose between two different itineraries:
-
The first itinerary will bring you above the waterfall of Loti before reaching the belvédère where you will have a beautiful viewpoint over the waterfall. Then you will visit the Fort of Fachoda, a historic landmark in French polynesia. For the more energetic visitors you will be able to continue up to the Jardins du gouverneur and to Teovere pass, with a stuning vista over the famous mountain of Diadème.
-
The second itinerary follows the river and at some places, you will have to ford streams. The path will bring you to the bottom of the Loti waterfall, and you will visit another beautiful waterfall where you will stop to have lunch.
